Jaime Sunye Neto (born May 2, 1957 in Curitiba , Brazil) is a Brazilian chess grandmaster .
Awarded the IM title in 1980 and the GM title in 1986 he was Brazilian Champion six times, in 1976, 1977, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982 and 1983 (jointly).
In 1979 he was invited to play in his first Interzonal in Rio de Janeiro as a second representative of the host nation.
